I was born in Bisceglie, a small town in Puglia.
I grew up between sea and land, making my own the culinary traditions of the fishermen and farmers of southern Italy. It was in the heterogeneous conviviality of Lisbon, in defiance of modernization, that I decided to share experiences and knowledge, bringing two cultures that are rooted in a common history.
My favorite dish:
“Dourada in cartoccio” in a firewood oven with a glass of Primitivo di Manduria
I speak Italian, English, and Portuguese (and a little bit of French).
